Piercing as a press Application is quite varied, but it differs from Punching in that the tooling is usually shaped with a lead in and precision edges with little to no burr is necessary. Any Joraco Press Company standard press can pierce materials with the correct tooling, however, the best suited benchtop pneumatic press for Piercing will depend on the shape, surface area, and shear strength of the material.
